Lost Arts studio

A lot of the fiber arts I enjoy are things like tatting, netmaking, chair caning, and even weaving, where people will come up to me when I demonstrate and solemnly tell me, "That's a lost art."

Tools Are Not Stash

At least that's what I tell myself!

I went to an estate sale this morning, but I didn't find these there. I did buy a cool rug that might go in our son's room after my husband finishes painting his bed.

I found these at a local thrift store: a dollar for a pair of 14" US size 1 single-points, and a dozen circular needles, in sizes from US 3 to 13, bundled together for $5. They would have to be very very very bad circs for me to feel bad about paying less than 42 cents for them.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go enter them into my needle inventory. (And gloat.)
