Lost Arts studio

A lot of the fiber arts I enjoy are things like tatting, netmaking, chair caning, and even weaving, where people will come up to me when I demonstrate and solemnly tell me, "That's a lost art."

Four O'Clock Roots

Fresh out of their bath. They probably would have gotten drier last night if I had put them on the porch out of the rain.

I've been knitting a bit and reading a lot. I bought Jane Austen's Emma at the library's book sale last week, and Dickens' Great Expectations, which I thought I had read, but didn't remember. Then I got David Copperfield at the library. So my head has been journeying, but my body is sitting around.
