Lost Arts studio

A lot of the fiber arts I enjoy are things like tatting, netmaking, chair caning, and even weaving, where people will come up to me when I demonstrate and solemnly tell me, "That's a lost art."

Happy Hallowe'en

My son wanted a jack o'lantern that said "READ". This is what we came up with.

We did last year's wolf again, too, only I stretched it vertically to fit our pumpkin.

They're both great! And I love the idea of a pumpkin with a social message :)

I LOVE these pumpkins! You are so very clever and I love that your son wanted your pumpkin to have a message.

Punkin with a message. I'll have to do that next year.

I take my linoleum carving tool and just peel off the skin on a cleaned out pumpkin. The light shines through, and you can do more cool sstuff.
